Getting It Done At Labor Ready
In an effort to assist the communities which have been affected by the recent Flooding, Labor Ready has partnered with a number of employers to facilitate clean-up and rebuilding operations. We have many paying positions available in the greater Detroit Metro.
Job Description: Individuals will be responsible for conducting clean-up operations in designated disaster areas which could include, pick up of debris, digging, sweeping, shoveling, property restoration, removing water damaged carpet, drywall and home furnishings along with other assigned duties.
Pay Rate: $8.50 hour
Shift/Hours: Early mornings, long hours to include week-ends.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to bend, kneel and stand for long periods of time and work long hours
- Some positions require heavy lifting up to 75 pounds
- Have the ability to work up to 7 days a week
- Ability to dig, load/unload items
- Be safety conscientious – wear safety gear which could include: hard hats, glasses, gloves, steel toe boots, vest or any other required safety equipment
Ideal Candidates:
- Adhere to safety at all times
- Have reliable transportation to get to/from job site
- Excellent attendance
- Individuals with cell phones have opportunity to receive text alerts
