Pitney Bowes Seeks a Business Analyst

This position is accountable for theSupportand Analysis ofmultipleaspects of the Core Mailing Portfolio for the US Market. Including implementing and testing Product Pricing and Sales Programs, leading Inventory Management and Forecasting activities, implementing and reporting on sales incentives to drive business results, analyzing business results and performance, ultimately recommending actions to improve revenue and margin.

The primary accountability of this position is for achievement of Pitney Bowes strategic and financial goals as defined by the Business Management leadership team through the effective management of our product solutions, including goals for revenue, profitability, customer value, and market share.

Each Business Analyst works closely with the Product Line Management team to evaluate business opportunities and execute product line strategies to meet our combined goals. The Business Analyst interfaces daily with Product Line Management, Global Marketing Managers, Segment Marketing Managers, Sales Operations, Service and Sales Channels

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Price Quote Configure (PQC) Tools - Pathfinder, Seibel, Dealer - Define Requirements, Document and Test Product Pricing and Configuration additions and changes within PB infrastructure for all sales channels, Work with implementation teams to review, analyze and validate all changes to confirm they meet the needs of the business.

Work with NBO, Pathfinder, Seibel and Dealer team to ensure PQC tools are maintained and current, all pricing up to date, all desired configurations can be accurately priced.

Define requirements, document and manage implementation for compensation rules and process as relates to products and services, work to with Sales Operations to implement and test

Effectively communicate and changes to Price/Configurations to appropriate channels.

Work with the Contract Team to communicate pricing and configuration changes in core business that impact contract terms. Ensure timely communication to allow contracts team to make the necessary adjustments.

Analyze business results. Review and validate monthly business performance, provide insight and observations. Identify anomalies and trends, investigate results to determine root cause, work cross functionally to share details of results and analysis.

Implement sales incentives as directed by Business Management team, measure, report and track results of incentives. Communicate results and manage reporting to ensure payment to sales channels.

Work with sales channels to identify opportunities, recommend adjustments to pricing, programs and incentives to improve business performance for Field, Inside Sales and Dealer Channels.

Work with sales channels regarding issues around pricing and configurations
Qualification

Required Qualifications:

Understanding of financial analysis and product management required.
  • Skill in project management, interpersonal communications, and presentations required.
  • Computer savvy in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word required.
  • Experience in sales, sales management, product marketing, and/or Pitney Bowes solutions preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pitney Bowes business practices and policies helpful.
