This position could include a shift of either 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or
8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The employee will be required to walk
between the two buildings on a daily basis. There is not a covered walkway so
they will be walking in the open and are therefore victim to the
weather.

The Mail Clerk will scan Incoming mail and packages into
relevant systems; Manually enter recipient and sender information (e.g., name;
policy number) in order to provide assistance and information to internal
partners (e.g., policy administration); Sort and/or deliver received mail,
packages, or correspondence by recipients' location, department, or business
unit; Contact recipients (e.g., email; phone call) to inform them of undelivered
mail, packages, or correspondence; Date stamp applicable mail, packages, and
correspondence (e.g., legal documents) manually or electronically (e.g.,
Omation; FileNet); and Index electronic documents into relevant systems and
other duties, as required. This is a business casual environment and closed-toe
shoes are necessary.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook,
    and creating & updating basic spreadsheets with Excel.
  • 6+ months of experience working within a professional business environment
    or in a Customer Service role.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. on a continuous basis and stand for long periods of
    time.
  • Ability to push a Mail cart with up to 75 lbs. of weight.

Preferred
Qualifications: 

  • Previous Mail Room or Copy Center experience.
