Human Resources Coordinator - Full-time / Part-time

REM Iowa is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide HR administrative support and assistance to our Central and Western Iowa programs.

The HR Coordinator will assist with recruiting and onboarding of employees including conducting phone interviews, reference checks and background checks. The HR Coordinator will review and maintain employee records and ensure compliance with regulatory and Network standards; ensure completion of new hire paperwork; review safety management implementation and assist with the delivery of best practices. This individual will also serve as an HR liaison and communication funnel between field and states offices.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of two (2) years Human Resources related experience required (i.e. recruiting, training, employee relations)
• Experience with applicant tracking system (Taleo) preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and Outlook
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets Company requirements
• Successful background clearance that meets regulatory and Company requirements
