Rehabilitation Assistant
The Rehabilitation Assistant is responsible for all direct client care in relation to programming, personal hygiene, comfort and safety. Additional responsibilities include administering medication, transporting clients and maintaining a neat and clean facility. This position will be located in the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor and the geographical areas.
Core Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED and/or proven ability to read and write
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills
- Willingness to be a team player
- Ability to set priorities
- Ability to lift, maneuver and carry up to 30lbs
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Acceptable driving record
- Acceptable under the State of Michigan’s Good Moral Statute
- Knowledgeable of HIPAA Privacy Rules
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be willing to work holidays and weekends
