About this job
The Driver is responsible for all direct client services including driving, client comfort, safety and record keeping. The position is also responsible for providing client care as needed including by not limited to assisting with hygiene, administering medication, and client supervision during appointments and outings.
Core Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED and/or proven ability to read and write
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of area roads and freeways
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills
- Willingness to be a team player
- Ability to set priorities
- Ability to lift, maneuver and carry up to 30lbs
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Acceptable driving record
- Acceptable under the State of Michigan’s Good Moral Statute
- Knowledgeable of HIPAA Privacy Rules
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be willing to work holidays and weekends
