The Retail Assistant Manager is dedicated to assisting with the day-to-day store operations and building relationships with customers in our retail side of Stripes stores.

You:
You act as a leader, coach and trainer to the team, leading the way by example in both sales and customer service. You'll be in-the-know and on-top of things like maintaining store profitability, expense control, inventory levels, and shortage control. As a Retail Assistant Manager you will:
  • Work closely with the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training the next enthusiastic team members
  • Go above and beyond to ensure our customers have a great shopping experience
  • Assist with assigning tasks such as ringing up sales on cash register, and handling money for products sold


To do this job well, you'll need:
  • A High School diploma or GED
  • A Valid Driver's License
  • Experience working on a computer
  • Availability to work on weekends or holidays
  • To be able to thrive under minimum supervision
  • A knack for being confident, passionate, and informed.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience; and 2-5 years of retail or sales experience
