Rosecroft is currently looking for a seasonal part-time Track Maintenance Operator to join the team.

Your daily responsibilities include:
*Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the racing surface.
*Operates tools, equipment, and supplies required for maintaining the integrity of the racing surface.
*Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications and standards.
*Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
*Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
*Maintains equipment utilized for track maintenance.
*Other duties may be assigned.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
*High school diploma or equivalent
*Six plus months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communicating skills.
*Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages etc.
*Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
*Must have valid drivers license with a clean record.
*Must qualify for the Maryland Racing Commission license.
*Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
