Looking for an exciting opportunity with a great company! CoWorx Staffing Services is recruiting for a temp to hire Logistics Coordinator for local worldwide logistics freight company. Must have a background in import in a warehouse environment.
Duties May Include:
Oversee booking and time-sensitive shipping of merchandize including fine antiques, electrical, household goods, etc. Communicate with cargo /commercial airlines to arrange shipping of products via, Fed Ex, UPS, and LTL. Utilize decision-making and research skills to locate the most efficient and cost effective method to ship freight.
Answered customer calls, quote prices, and locate parts. Packaged and shipped products, generated invoices, and ensured delicate computer parts, including microchips and batteries, arrived to customer on time.Inspected new products from vendors to ensure quality and integrity of inventory and detect counterfeit parts.
