Summary:
The Training & Development Specialist will be responsible for the roll out, delivery and continuous training development tools via Learning Management System online training platform. Will be responsible for analyzing training needs, developing curriculum and executing training deliverables via on-line, in-person, and via other media resources to employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop, roll-out and manage on-line training platform for all employees
• Strategize ways to maximize training effectiveness and efficiency.
• Develop strong relationship with senior management to gain trust and support during the rollout and continued development.
• Develop and maintain relationships with all management to ensure proper utilization of training courses and tools
• Develop customized training courses based on management requests
• Managed outside vendors, while evaluating purchased applicable training courses to meet needs
• Monitor training outcome to ensure learning objectives are achieved
• Facilitate and develop all learning resources and tools
• Design course load requirement according to career path development
• Develop and monitor required courses for all employees based on position and department
• Assist employees in exploring future career development and growth
• Ensure training initiatives align to company strategy
• Develop and deliver the training.
• Assist in other areas of human resources as directed by department manager
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, pro-active, detail-oriented with a strong focus on deliverables
• This position requires initiative, motivation, creativity and ability to understand many areas of expertise
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with all levels of management
• Presentation and development skills
• Proficient computer skills including working knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook and other software programs
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in human resources or related field or the equivalent in related experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of direct related training experience with proven experience in start up, development, design and roll-out of on-line training tools in a corporate environment
