Compounder
Reports to: Compounding Mgr.
Department: Production
Job Summary:
Following batch record, blends chemicals to make finished products, lotion, soap, shampoo, ultra sound gels, hand sanitizers etc. Performs all tasks necessary to keep product available for the production lines.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Implement 5-S work place
- Follow cGMP
- Continuously improve work place
- Meet Production Schedule
- Problem solving
- Eliminate scrap and waste
- Chemical Blending of production batches from batch record, adding raw materials from 55 gallon drums and computer additions
- Sanitize production tanks and lines, or wherever sanitization is needed
- Assist and sample incoming bulk tankers or incoming raw materials
- Maintain clean and sanitary compounding area.
- Assist research and development team with new and existing batches.
Qualification
Required Skills:
· Ability to lift over 50 - 100 pounds of weight.
· Good math skills
· Technical ability
· Prompt arrival and regular attendance at work according to current schedule.
· Willingness to work weekends or other overtime hours.
