Duties include
Scheduled in/out patients for appointments to various clinics
- Verified demographics and insurances for Medicare and PPOs including co-pay information
- Utilized knowledge of ICD-9, CPT Codes and medical terminology
- Filed medical record charts
- Updated patient information
- Verified authorization and ABN codes/input into PCX system and IDX system
- Register patients into various clinics
- Verified Insurances, HMO, PPO���s, co-Pays
- Processed insurance forms, update patient demographics and called patients for appointments
- Used AS400 and PCX system for filing medical record chart.
- Operated office machines: photocopier, telecopy, PCX, IDX, ABN and Passport to verify insurances
