About this job
We have a simulation coming up on Fort Benning and have a good number of openings for qualified individuals. The simulation will go from the 2nd of September to the 26th of September. Contractors will work a standard forty hour work week for the duration of the contract and hours are most likely going to be 0800 to 1700 Monday through Friday.
Contractors will be responsible for controlling a simulated military (usually a company size element) unit within a networked simulation. They will be responsible for planning unit routes, reacting to ambushes, and maneuvering on OPFOR simulated elements. Essentially getting paid to play a military simulation.
Anyone who meets the following requirements are encouraged to apply:
-At least three years military experience (Any military branch, active, reserve or National Guard)
-Candidates MUST have an active SECRET clearance or higher to be eligible to participate
-Combat arms experience is a plus but is not mandatory
-Basic computer skills are NEEDED to successfully get around within the simulation software
-Reliable transportation and proper federal ID (either drivers license or military ID) will be needed to get onto Fort Benning
There are currently around 80 slots for Simulation Interactors, if you or anyone you know is interested in participating feel free to apply. This contract is only one month long but we get these contracts throughout the year. Contractors who perform well will always be brought back for future simulation. We also have field testing contracts throughout the year. Contractors who participate in the simulations are often carried over to cover down on those contracts as well.
