School Photographer - Paid Training!

In this role, you will set up in a new school each day and take high-quality student portraits. We all remember Picture Day from when we were children, and this is your chance to earn income by making memories!

We can train you on everything you need to know about taking memorable portraits while delivering a delightful experience for students and teachers alike. Job Responsibilities

* Provides clear instructions to each subject to capture desired expressions and high quality portraits.
* Represents Lifetouch in a positive manner and ensures a great picture day experience through professional, energetic, enthusiastic interactions with subjects, administration, host staff, parents and helpers.
* Problem-solves and communicates in a way that is confident and professional during stressful situations.
* Stays on schedule and adheres to all applicable policies and procedures.
* Maintains, transports and sets up all necessary equipment and supplies.
* Safeguards sales proceeds and equipment and maintains confidentiality of customer/subject related information

Job Requirements

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Previous work experience and the ability to positively interact with both school-age children and adults
* Experience working in both a team environment and independently strongly preferred
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
* Positive and professional image
* Ability to travel up to 100 mile radius (with occasional overnight stays) and work a varied seasonal schedule, including early mornings, late afternoons, long days, evenings and weekends.
* Access to reliable transportation, current auto insurance (compliant with all applicable state laws) and valid driver's license required
* Knowledge of Nikon digital cameras and operations including TTL and digital flash fill preferred
* Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and ability to occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds.
