Business Analyst - IT - Full-time / Part-time

*Job SUMMARY* The Business Analyst is delivering and maintaining business requirements for IT projects. Assists the PM in leading the project team members, both internal and external resources, to achieve project defined milestones and deliverables. Reports to a Manager - IT; however, day-to-day work is likely to be assigned and monitored by a Project Manager - IT, or Sr. Business Analyst-IT. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities* * Gather business requirements from the Business (users) to understand their needs. Work with the business to help them understand the impact of the solution. * Ensures questions and discrepancies about specifications in his/her component of the project, are resolved during the solution development process. Ensure business user's needs are addressed throughout the project and represented in the technical solution. Follow all project management framework standards, procedures and documentation. Review all user documentation. Monitor testing. * Provide continuous process improvements based on business needs throughout the course of the project. And, look to develop and continually update knowledge about the technical infrastructure and applications in use. * Participation in the execution of the implementation plan, and the development of training and support plans for the users of the application. Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years of related experience in a business analysis role within the IT function.
