This
dynamic opportunity will be supporting the OptumRx accounting team. 

 



Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and maintain records of amounts owed and ensure
    prompt payment of invoices for inventory purchases.

  • Review
    documents for accuracy and compliance with organization policy and regulatory
    guidelines including proper authorization, documentation, general ledger
    coding, correct amounts, proper remittance and sales tax.

  • Prepare
    or review regular reporting generated from Accounts Payable team. This may
    include reporting or other operational reporting for distribution to Accounting
    Management or other internal or external customers.

General Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates,
    supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of Account Payable team.

  • Participate
    with month end close journal entry preparation, general ledger account
    reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts payable, inventory,
    auditing, & supervising small staff.

Requirements

Required
Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

  • Must have reporting and analysis experience  

  • Microsoft Excel proficiency to manipulating large data
    files, sorting and filtering (can exceed ½ million rows)

  • Must have experience collaborating within a matrix
    environment in a fast paced role

  • Must have experience leading your own work without supervision;
    independent contributor

  • Experience working
    in G/L in an ERP system



Preferred
Qualifications:



  • Supervisory experience is highly preferred

  • Intermediate to strong Excel skills a plus

  • Experience working
    with A/P in an ERP system is preferred
