Construction Estimator - Full-time / Part-time

Local Contruction company is in need of an Estimator. Our company specializes in producing metal buildings for our clients. Qualified candidtes should have 1-2 years of estimating experience in the construction field. However, we may consider a candidate with a Construction Mangement degree or a degree in a related fiedl who does not have experience. Candidates must have experience using AutoCad.

Responsibilities:

Conducts price reviews on all building orders and their components, assembling material take off's from building plans, conducting administrative review of all contractual paperwork between us and the owner, preparing material requisitions from specialty components manufactured at our facilities, calculating and ordering specialty merchandise from vendors, reviewing/coordinating with drafting technicians-engineers and project managers the creation and verification of all drawings and details for construction and manufacturing personnel, reviewing and checking other team members work on a daily basis, working with sales team on a daily basis on basic design and pricing methods and working with construction crews on situations that may arise from work in process.
