PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE: Experience working on a golf course, parks, ball field preparation, landscaping, mowing, trash removal or janitorial experience desirable.
SPECIAL TRAINING AND SKILLS: Must be at least 18 years old. Knowledge in use of power equipment helpful. Must have a valid Michigan Driver's license with good driving record. Good customer service skills. Able to lift 50 lbs. CDL or chauffeur driver's license, previous experience and pesticide applicators license categories 3a, 3b and 6 are desirable but not required.
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Employees may do all or some of the following: Mow, trim, weed, seed, plant trees and flowers, paint park equipment, trash removal from parks, groom trails and maintain ball fields and other maintenance tasks as needed. May include janitorial work including building cleaning at parks and golf facilities. Also may include snow and ice removal during the winter season.
