Labor Ready is currently looking to hire a Human Resource Representative in the Anacortes, WA area. These are temporary-to-hire positions working 40 hours a week, Day and Swing Shifts, Monday through Saturday. Pay ranging with experience $14.00-$16.00 per hour

Job Description

Performs the clerical functions required of the Human Resource department. Act as back up support for payroll processor and benefits administrator. Take position in line up of plant phone reception.
Essential functions are as follows:

• Records employee information such as: personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason
• Processes employment applications and assists in other employment activities, including new employee paperwork and file set up
• Prepares COBRA notifications and tracking
• Performs drug screening, injury claims file maintenance, and is a safety committee member
• Processes payroll as needed during vacations/absences of primary payroll processor
• Works on special projects and other duties as assigned by HR Manager

 

Job Requirements

• Must possess a High School Diploma/GED, 1-3 months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Prefer PHR or working towards completion within 1 year from hire
• Customer service skills, high integrity, and work ethic, has a “can-do” attitude, thinks outside the box, and is innovative with breakthrough solutions
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, reach, use hands, to finger, to handle, and stretch, and lift up to 10 lbs repetitively for 8-12 hours
• Detail oriented, have the ability to follow both oral and written directions, ability to work unsupervised as part of a team
• Ability to work in moderate noise level environment
• Bilingual is a plus (English and Spanish fluently)
• Willing to submit to Background Check and Drug Screen

Pay Rate: $14-$16 per hour, Based on Experience

Shift/Hours: Monday-Saturday, 40+ hours per week on Day, Swing Shifts
