Positions in this function are primarily responsible for the effective delivery of training programs across the organization. Keeps abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products and systems. May also be involved in the design process. Positions delivering operations specific training, such as Claims or Customer Service, are in the Training Delivery-Operational function.
As a Senior Trainer, you will be responsible for the training of functional areas such as Customer Service, Manual Claims or Client Management, and could include some aspects of providing input or reviewing curriculum as needed. We are looking for someone who has extensive work experience in a highly matrix organization across multiple functions. When not in training you will assist the supervisor of the department with department activities and act as a resource and mentor to the team. There is a 25% travel requirement as there are 6 sites across the US as well as some travel overseas.

- Planning
and scheduling of training classes - Reporting
of training metrics such as attendees, hours, etc. - Work
on special projects for the department, such as procedural documents - Successful
interaction with virtual team - Mentor
other trainers and training assistants - Demonstrate
great depth of knowledge/skills in training and systems that are trained - Proactively
identify solutions to non-standard requests - May
assist instructional design as a subject matter expert - Solves
moderately complex problems on own. - Works
with virtual team to solve complex problems - Plans,
prioritizes, organizes and completes work to meet established objectives - Attend
meetings as a training subject matter expert

- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time within the US and some overseas travel.
- 3+ years training in an adult learning/development environment.
- Experience facilitating virtually via WebEx or other virtual solution.
- 1+ year of experience presenting to groups or in a one on one setting.
- 1+ year of experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Experience using learning/training concepts and principles along with knowledge of adult learning.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Pharmacy Tech License preferred.
