Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza is a completely new fast-casual concept that serves custom-built artisanal pizzas at freakishly fast speeds. Already a hit in Southern California with lines out the door, Blaze Pizza is coming to Bayshore Town Center in Glendale, WI.
We are now hiring Pizza'olos for this location. So what is a Pizza'olo you ask? Simply put, they are a Pizza Crafter. Hired for their outgoing and friendly personality and trained to be an expert at crafting perfectly made fast-fire'd pizza.
Summary of Position:
As a Pizza'olo, you will be responsible for:
Serving each guest courteously, quickly and efficiently with a sincere, positive, pleasant and enthusiastic attitude
*Filling orders
*Operating a cash register
*Using the correct tools & procedures to prepare, build and present perfect food
*Serving food that meets our quality standards
*Maintain a clean, neat and well-stocked area so you are ready to serve guests
Qualifications:
*Reliable Transportation to our location in Glendale
*Good personal grooming
*Good communication & writing skills
*Good cash handling skills
*Able to stand up for 8 hours
*Able to lift 35-50 pounds
*Use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists
About Blaze Pizza
Blaze Pizza uses an interactive service format (similar to Chipotle Mexican Grill(R)) that allows guests to create custom artisanal pizzas at lightning fast speed - for about $7.00 each. Each Blaze Pizza restaurant makes its own dough from scratch using a recipe that requires a 24-hour fermentation period to produce its signature light-as-air, crisp crust. Guests watch as each perfectly proofed dough ball is pressed into a generously sized crust. Next, they travel down the service line to co-create a signature pizza or design one of their own -- with over 40 artisanal toppings to choose from. Pizzas are fast-fire'd in a blazing-hot oven and ready in a scant 120 seconds. Blaze Pizza's menu also features signature salads, fresh lemonades, craft beer & wine and house-made S'more Pies. For pizza fans with specific dietary needs, Blaze Pizza offers gluten-free dough and vegan cheese
