Primary Responsibilities:

• Build and/or maintain processes to automate the integration of data from disparate data sources for the purpose of generating financial reports, provider payments, or General Ledger entries


• Participate in projects that involve integrating new business into the general ledger


• Perform account reconciliations and support the audit process


• Generate both ad hoc and routine financial reports to fulfill requests from external stakeholders (External  Auditors/ State/Providers) and internal stakeholders (C&S Accounting, Actuaries, CFOs,  Regulatory team, etc.)


• Assist in reviewing processes, develop and implement recommendations for creating efficiencies and enhancing reporting results


• Assure all reports/information requests are responded to within the goals/time frames established

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field


• 3+ years of data analysis and/or reporting experience


• Direct experience building processes to import, maintain, and report on large data sets


• Ability to identify and understand the data needs of a growing organization; structure and prepare analysis to support and lead decision making


• Advanced skill in Excel - pivot tables and macros


• Advanced skill in Access - make tables, joins, and queries


• Experience utilizing data warehouse tools and querying large data sets


• Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively interact with multiple departments and management


• Ability to prioritize time; work on multiple tasks with ongoing deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• PL SQL experience


• Experience with General Ledger software


• Programming experience with Visual Basic for applications
