Automotive/Diesel Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is looking for a mid level auto or diesel mechanic for one of the most reputable and largest car and truck dealership in the state of UT.

We are seeking for a mid level mechanic with great leadership skills to work performing repairs of light of cars and diesel trucks.

Job Duties:

• Performs preventative maintenance and completes repairs on gasoline and light diesel vehicles.
• Changes oil, replaces filters, checks and replaces belts and hoses, brake systems, engine performance, transmission PM and general repairs
• Completes epairs as directed with little or no assistance.
• Completes necessary paperwork as required
• Follows directions by management and master level technicians.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have 4-5 of experience as an automotive or diesel mechanic and the ability to perform from basic to some complex repairs on vehicles
• The mechanic must have a high level of productivity to take advantage of the flat rate.
• Must be self drive and ambitious to take advantage of career opportunities and training
• Must have excellent customer service skills!
• Must have computer proficiency
• Valid driver's license and have a clean driving record

Most technicians in this dept average wages between $18-20/hour and 20-24/hour DOE (flat rate depending of productivity) as a mid level mechanic which is the starting wage, however the company offers training classes and certifications and opportunities for promotions to master mechanic and senior master mechanic level and the wages will increase dramatically.
