Construction Project Manager
CORESTAFF is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for our client in Lusby, MD. This person will interface with the main contractor and subcontractors to ensure that requirements are met during construction, start-up and turn-over.
Responsibilities:
- Provide construction project management
- Provide construction project management
- Secure resources for a number of multidisciplinary projects, and ensures project results meet requirements regarding safety, technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
- Leads and coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, people management, and troubleshooting issues that may impact project goals.
- Direct single project team and manage total project scope, develop assignments, timetables and responsibilities for the duration of the project
- Serve as a liaison between the project team and construction site
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in project management, relevant technologies, and leadership in the assigned project areas.
- 20 years experience in construction management practices
- Skilled in developing, implementing and managing new construction and/or improvement projects that enhance the overall reliability, efficiency and safety of the plant.
- Strong team building skills, effective negotiating skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to develop, manage and monitor project performance to ensure results meet project requirements and schedules
- Knowledgeable in the construction field for large capital projects with experience with FERC regulated facilities highly desirable
- Ability to represent the project and the company in public forums
- APCI process equipment experience preferable
- Able to obtain federal Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) card
