Medical collections - Full-time / Part-time

-Review monthly reports of patients with overdue bills
-Call patients to notify them of overdue bill and offer payment suggestions
-Take payments over the phone
-Document conversations
-Answering billing questions that may come up
-Work with appropriate team members to communicate other patient questions that need to be addressed by someone else
-May assist in contacting insurance companies when volume allows to follow up on aged denials

Qualifications:

1. Previous collections experience
2. Understanding of medical billing process
3. Ability to work well on a team
4. Ability to type 35+ WPM
5. Ability to learn internal computer system
6. Strong communication skills over the phone and in person with team members
