Chat Agent: This is a customer facing position providing support to Client Customers over the internet. Agents will apply defined practices, procedures and company policies to triage, troubleshoot and resolve problems exercising good judgment, strong written skills as well as deep customer empathy.

· Provide high quality customer interactions in a chat/written environment that that focus on creating “Net Promoters”.

§ Utilize and leverage resources to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer.

§ Assists multiple customers concurrently via chat.

§ Document what has been done to help the customer and properly escalate issues that do not have a known resolution.

§ Consistent use of privacy and security guidelines in modifying customer account passwords and data.

§ Problem solving utilizing abstract and verbal reasoning skills.

§ Clear, concise written communication in a customer friendly language.

§ Strong reading comprehension skills

Required:

§ High school diploma or GED required;

§ Minimum of 6 months or more Customer Service experience;

§ Proven track record solving customer problems utilizing customer empathy in conjunction with abstract and verbal reasoning skills;

§ Proficiency using Microsoft Windows;

§ Ability and desire to excel in a fast paced environment;

§ Home Office Requirements – All @home employees are required to have a completely secluded and noise-free home office environment from which they can work from for the duration of all shifts.


Preferred:

§ Call Center experience, assisting customers with issues via phone, chat and email;

§ College degree is an asset
