UPS is hiring individuals to work as full-time Cargo Handlers for Vacation Relief in our Cargo Warehouse. Job duties include processing inbound cargo in a timely, efficient and accurate manner. Additional job duties will include storing and transporting pallets to loader for aircraft loading, secure pallets in proper aircraft position and assist in other cargo services departments as required by workload. This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering and sliding packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs. Cargo Handlers must have a valid driver's license.
Full-time Cargo Handlers usually work from 11PM to 8am (Monday through Sunday), with two scheduled days off. Cargo Handlers must also be available to work on weekends or selected holidays.
Cargo Handlers receive an hourly rate of $11.00. UPS full-time employees also receive an attractive benefits package.
