As an Order Entry Representative, you will work with the team to process Pitney Bowes Software Orders. This helps our customers successfully procure their purchased software products. Your career with Pitney Bowes will help you not only understand the process where customer orders are procured through the Order Management Process, but it will also help you understand the back office operations for software purchases. This position is located in Troy, NY.
The Job
Complete Customer orders via PB Order Management System
Use Pitney Bowes Back office systems to complete Order Management
Applies best practices, polices & procedures that contribute to positive team metrics.
Answers, consults with more senior-level Order Entry representatives, contributes and co-ordinates with Sales Admin, Invoicing and & Product distribution when necessary about sales orders to help resolve customer order issues.
May be responsible for documenting and following to resolution new OP processes
Additional duties as required
Qualification
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or
One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be computer literate, should have knowledge of Internet software; some familiarity with using Order processing systems; sreadsheet software and Word Processing software; and must have the ability to learn job-related software applications
Responsible for delivering Order Entry support activities and has the autonomy to engage the Sales, Sales Admin, and Product Distribtuion Teams with regards to license keys and Sales Orders. Defers to Up Level for other handoffs
