Facilities Management Coordinator

Impact

As a Facilities Coordinator you will ensure plans, budgets and schedules for new facilities, facility modifications and infrastructure requirements. This helps our customers organize and plan facility/plant security and safety. Your career with Pitney Bowes will help you learn the Presort Industry and assist all PB employees in the Client, Team, Win concepts. This position is located in Omaha, NE.

The Job

  • Plans, organizes and supervises the work relating to HVAC systems, electrical systems, production equipment (such as conveyor systems, compressed systems, mail sorting equipment installs) and Fire Protections systems.Directs facility repairs, installations, construction, ground improvement and maintenance projects.
  • Analyzes and investigates issues and prepares and completes written reports to VP/GM with solutions and/or recommendations. Provides operational reports to senior PBPS management on a regular basis .
  • Administers Security, Preventive Maintenance and Janitorial contracts; reviews work of all contractors to ensure that work is completed in accordance with the contract requirements.
  • Manages all projects to the approved budget, required time lines and to PBPS required standards.
  • Ensures that facilities comply with local, state and federal government regulations and PB company safety policies including Fire Protection and Environmental requirements. Identifies and resolves safety hazards. .
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualification
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
  • 3 to 5 years in Facilities Management and/or plant operations.
  • Proficiency in MS - Office, Word, Excel and Power point.
  • Fluency with AutoCad required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail skills required.
