POSITION PURPOSE
Deliver high quality, timely, customer service to Home Depot store associates by providing a single point of contact for Supply Chain requests.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Respond to inbound communications via telephone, letter and e-mail.

  • Work closely with stores to resolve concerns regarding purchase order status, deliveries, and inventory levels. Communicate with merchandising, DC's, inventory management, and transportation teams about order status.

    NATURE AND SCOPE
    Reports to Contact Center Supervisor/Manager
    No direct responsibility for supervising others

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be eighteen years of age
  • Must pass the Drug Test
  • Must pass the Background Check
  • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

  • Be able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime on occasion.
  • Successfully complete any required training or orientation programs.

    EDUCATION REQUIRED
    The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

    YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
    2 Years

    PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
    Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Some higher education experience preferred.
    2 years customer service with retail, supply chain, or inventory replenishment experience preferred.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Pleasant and professional telephone manners in dealing with customers
  • Basic computer and phone knowledge.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to perform under pressure and multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • History of punctuality and good attendance.
  • Spanish is a plus but not required.
