The Client Insights Manager primary responsibility is to provide analytical insight, category management and other related marketing initiatives to assigned clients at the national level.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Insights Manager partners with our National Client Insight Manager, Client Service Director and assigned client contacts to ensure that Acosta is providing the appropriate analytics and category management services to the client efficiently and to assist in the development of specific client reports, templates and tools and providing value added services while building client relationships.
  • Partners with the National Client Insight Manager in their role of providing support in the areas of the client’s initiatives, score cards, category management, tools and technology development and training, communications and managing custom syndicated data and tools supplied by the client.
  • Engages with client to deliver scorecards and insights and to fully understand their needs and requirements to meet the client expectation.
  • Provides analytical insights to the client and NCIM, maintains syndicated data templates and reports as well as trains clients in accessing, and using Acosta propriety tools and templates for category management.
  • Provide Proactive, Diagnostic, Insightful and Prescriptive fact based analysis and recommendations around specific client business issues surrounding, but not limited to, the 4 P’s of Marketing - the combination of product, price, place (distribution), and promotion at the direction of the National Client Insight Manager.
  • Responsible for disseminating relevant consumer insights, competitive responses, and new item/category selling modules to local markets.
  • Utilize and understand Spectra, Market Track, IRI and Nielsen syndicated scanning data and other systems used to generate the information for client scorecards, client reviews and category reviews.
  • Partners with the National Client Insights Manager to insure that the client has constant visibility to changing capabilities, tools and resources available within the Acosta organization and ensures we are leveraging those to ensure productive return on the business.
  • Facilitates the coordination and dissemination of proactive ‘best in class’ knowledge sharing amongst the NCIM team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years marketing experience in the CPG industry are required.
  • Must present a professional image and be able to represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Must be willing to travel if necessary.
  • Must have strong computer skills utilizing a variety of PC software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and a working knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with others.
  • Must be able to operate a calculator, computer, printer, fax machine, telephone, and copy machine.
