Industrial Maintenance / Crane Maintenace Mechanic

Pridestaff is recruiting for a skilled IndustrialMaintenance Technician!!!

Looking for a multi craft maintenance technician, with strong focus on overhead cranes.

Job Description:

• Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
• Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
• Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
• PLC and DC drive troubleshooting.
• Fit bearings to adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices.
• Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges.
• Position will work in warehouse (banding and loading) when repairs are not necessary.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong knowledge in PLC is required and DC drives is a plus, along with troubleshooting these components.
• Strong electrical experience is required
• Must have welding experience, at minim MIG/TIG
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Applicants must be willing and have the flexibility to work a day shift with overtime and be on call nights and weekends. Applicants must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

$16.00 - 18.00 (could be more) per hour based on experience, job knowledge, and interview.
