DISH's Equipment Remanufacturing team ensures the high quality condition of millions of satellite receivers and remote controls. State-of-the-art facilities in El Paso, TX, Spartanburg, SC, and Englewood, CO, use advanced diagnostic tools and automated equipment to test, refurbish and redistribute hardware to customers.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts. Ability to apply concepts of basic math and algebra.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities
- Ability to install through hole and surface mount components on printed circuit boards following a BOM.
- Fits together electrical/electronic parts according to specified sequence. Tests moving parts, subassemblies, or components to detect defective parts or faulty operation.
- Adjusts or repairs parts, subassemblies, or components to attain specified functional performance.Verifies completed assembly against specifications.
- Works on one job at a time under direct supervision on duties and tasks that are standardized, selecting from written instructions and established procedures.
- Resolves routine questions and problems referring more complex issues to higher levels.
