About this job
This is great opportunity with a growing metal fabrication company in Woodstock, IL. My Client is looking for a well-rounded Quality Manager to oversee all quality related issues both internally and externally. This is a temp to hire position, but would consider direct hire for the right candidate. Pay range is 50-70K.
Quality Manager Responsibilities:
Run and operate all quality equipment
Develop and maintain the quality system including ISO, TS, 5S, 17025 etc.
Implement and practices prevention-based systems
Calibrates and maintains calibration systems
Document and record control
Work with Customers and suppliers to understand and achieve requirements
Utilization of PPAP and APQP processes and procedures
Manage department training program
Quality Manager Requirements:
Must have Certificate or degree in quality or engineering or equivalent Quality Management experience
5+ years of Quality Management experience (preferred)
Familiarity with use of quality equipment and gages
Knowledge of statistical methods (SPC, GD&T, CAP and R&R, Minitab)
