About this job
We are seeking a mobile construction and industrial equipment mechanic to service various types of heavy lifting equipment. This position will require the ideal candidate to work remotely at customer sites with limited supervision so the ability to work, think and operate independently is a must.
Preferred Skills:
Prior mechanical and technical experience on large mobile equipment preferred
Operate and inspect heavy lift equipment (diesel, electric or LP fueled) to diagnose technical problems
Determine required repairs
Maintain equipment service records
Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks on-site at customers locations
Test mechanical equipment after repair or assembly to guarantee proper performance and compliance with the manufacturer specifications.
Hydraulic experience a plus
Diesel experience a plus
Electrical experience a plus
Strong electrical aptitude a plus
Must have own hand tools up to 3/4-inch
-Offer of employment is contingent upon clearing a 3 year MVR, Physical and drug screening
Pay is negotiable based on experience.
