Spartan has immediate opportunities for Quality Inspectors in the Columbus/Walesboro, IN area. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with a great company!

Job Description:

• Responsible to read and follow all work instructions and directions
• Will use sight, smell, and touch to inspect product for defects
• Identify problems with product, ask questions, and report to supervisor
• Follow all safety, health, and environmental requirements at facility
• Will use inspection, measuring, and test equipment

Job Requirements:

• Must have High School Diploma/GED
• Must have good vision to distinguish colors
• Previous inspection experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic math
• Be able to lift at least 25 lbs repetitively for 12 hours
• Be able to stand or sit for up to 12 hours
• Have good communication skills
• Must be willing to submit to a Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen
• Reliable Transportation is required

Pay Rate: $9.50 per hour

Shift/Hours: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts available 6 days a week, some overtime required
