This is a telephonic position. There will be no patient contact. You will be speaking with Members regarding Disease Management. You will see if they have any needs and are getting their medications. You will have a case load with daily assignments. You will review these assignments, prioritize your tasks, and then reach out to the Members. Issues may come up that need to be addressed immediately, so the ability to be flexible and prioritize is important. 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Current, unrestricted LPN licensure in the State of Ohio.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a Medical facility, Emergency Department, Hospital, or with Home Care.
  • 1+ year of experience in an Office setting using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform the job duties.
  • Basic (or higher) level of Computer skills.
  • Basic knowledge of medications.
  • Ability to maintain Confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA Requirements.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Knowledge of Milliman Care Guidelines.
  • Knowledge of InterQual Criteria.
