Position Description:
The Sales
Operations Specialist is responsible for the daily support of New Business Sales
Operations functions, as well as supporting producers in meeting Sales
objectives.
Primary
Responsibilities:
- New
Business Sales support for functions related to new business – pre-sale through
installation. - Specialty
packaging, rate bank, and reporting. - Frequent
interaction with external Brokers and/or agencies. - Coordinate and work with National Implementation
(PRIME/FACETS/Oxford/NICE) Operations teams. - Pre-sale.
- 51-99
Medical quoting. - Network
and GEO Access reports. - Quality.
- Installation.
- Broker
relationships. - Scrub all
New Business submissions. - Communicate/obtain missing information to Broker.
- Continuously follow up with the Brokers for missing
information. - Work with
Underwriting upon receipt of all required information. - Submit
51-99 size groups to rating through the ATLAS systems,. - Prepare
spreadsheets from 2-99 size groups. - Understand Medical and Specialty benefits being offered to the
client. - Submit
Group to Case Installation upon receipt of Underwriting approval. - Answer
case-specific questions from Brokers/clients concerning New Group
submissions. - Update
Sales Tracking systems with case information during Pre-sale process, as
defined. - Work
one-on-one with Account Executives to ensure New Group process runs
smoothly. - Take all
Incoming phone calls pertaining to the installation of small business and
resolve any New Business quotes or Installation problems posed from the Brokers
or customer groups. - Possess
all new Incoming Healthcare business.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 2+ years of Sales Support or Telephonic Customer
Service experience. - Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook,
including data entry, document creation, and email & calendar
maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Insurance Sales experience.
- Healthcare Industry
experience.
