Position Description:


If

This position involves two primary functions:


1) Accurately identifying/authenticating members and
electronically routing psychological testing requests to the correct managing
Care Advocacy Center within a short time-frame.




2) Using the telephone, electronic calendar, and propriety
member database to schedule clinical peer reviews for a centralized team of
psychologist reviewers



These tasks require a
detail-oriented individual who is highly motivated, and who has the ability to
work quickly and accurately in computer-based systems, the ability to engage
with a variety of providers via phone to schedule reviews that need to occur
within strict time guidelines, fluency with translating one time zone to
another when scheduling, and tenacity in resolving issues related to requests
where it may be difficult to readily identify the correct member. Willingness
to learn new systems and take on new tasks as requested by management is
essential.


Locations:  Maryland Heights, MO is preferred or Any UHG Location

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency with computers, Windows
    systems, and Microsoft Office Suites, including the ability to
    learn new and complex computer system applications
  • 2+ years of experience
    working in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as
    the primary instruments to perform job duties
  • Available to work 40 hours per
    week on-site and within standard business hours  


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Proficiency with LINX
  • Experience working with
    DOS-based computer systems
  • Experience with Access
    Database use and maintenance
  • Prior experience working with Rightfax
    electronic faxing systems
  • Experience working with
    insurance, specifically behavioral health benefits 


Abilities/Knowledge:



  • Knowledge of HIPPA
    requirements
  • Prior knowledge of state and federal peer
    review turn-around-time requirements and state sign-off requirements
  • Ability to navigate a computer
    while on the phone
  • Ability to multi-task and
    shift focus quickly without loss of attention to detail  
  • Strong written and verbal
    communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to remain focused and
    productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
  • Ability to accurately work with scheduling
    across various time zones

  • Frequent speaking, listening
    using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, long
    periods working at a computer
