About this job
Our company is looking for a Group Home Manager to provide supervision and support to a residential program for individuals with disabilities, located in Richmond, MI. Full-time, salaried position with excellent pay and benefits. Applicants must have either MORC, CLS, CMH, or VCE training, prior supervisory experience, a valid MI driver's license, possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, and be 18 years or older.
Some essential duties and responsibilities are:
Provides support and assistance to all persons served
Acts as a liaison with contractors, guardians and other stakeholders
Provides leadership, direction and supervision to assigned personnel
Conducts disciplinary actions as required
Monitors employee training certifications
Ensures compliance with emergency program procedures
Coordinates staff schedules and responds to coverage needs
Reviews and audits payroll
Remains on-call for emergency guidance to staff and persons served
Facilitates new hire orientation at the home
Follows and monitors medication guidelines and dietary needs of the individual served as outlined in the Person Centered Plan
Attends and completes all trainings and seminars as requested
Assists in agency accreditation as directed
