The Sales Analyst Manager– Wal-Mart will work in tandem with the DPSG Director of Sales, National account Executive (NAE) and the customer (Wal-Mart) to support a strategic vision and plan to drive volume, sales and margin. The Analyst position will report to Director of National Accounts while directly supporting the Senior Sales Analyst position. Primary job functions include supporting the development of annual Joint Business Plan, sales reporting/analysis, and pre & post analysis of promotional activity. This role also supports the headquarter field sales team for Wal-Mart and the bottler community with data, analysis and thought leadership for categories such as carbonated beverages, juice/juice drinks, premium beverages and mixers. They will support the business plan by delivering superior analysis, recommendations and persuasive selling presentations.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with Walmart’s Retail Link. They will bring advanced skills in Microsoft office products including, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access. This candidate will possess computer programing skills and experience.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create, maintain and communicate all daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting for the Wal-Mart headquarter sales team, the operations team, field sales and bottling groups. This role will be super user of Retail Link.
  2. Maintain the Vision Chain portal reports, trade and budget recaps, daily sales reporting and sales status reports. Administers and communicates promotional event tracking, long term opportunities and new item status recaps.
  3. Provide interpretation of Nielsen/IRI data, in the role of a super user for the team, and recommendations for growth. The role works with sales to ensure the data needs of the business are being met.
  4. Administer Market Deck Generator and Execution Reporting and communicate as required.
  5. Run pricing scripts, maintain pricing records and is accountable for the timely communication of pricing reports to ensure compliance and accuracy. The role is also responsible for executing the promotional volume scripting process.
  6. Provide data inputs to the Profitmax program in an accurate and timely fashion to highlight business trends.
  7. Create external and internal PowerPoint presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree from accredited institution or degree in progress within 2 years of completing a Bachelor Degree from accredited institution.
  • 2 years CPG experience or 1 year of CPG experience with an internship at other CPG company.
  • 2 years of experience using MS Office, with advanced skills in pivot tables & v-lookup in MS Excel, and Access.
