The IT Project Analyst/Coordinator position will assist the implementation of Optum360 product line offerings, providing hands on product and service installs, business planning and analytic support for various levels within the customer base.


 


 


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Analyze, troubleshoot, test and resolve data integrity for new and existing customers

  • Understand the quality and depth of customer source system data to understand customer needs and deliver product solutions

  • Document all required operating procedures as they relate to each specific project particulars

  • Use product knowledge to perform quality testing routines and accurate installation methodologies of standard or customized data formats

  • Execute assigned customer project plans and task deliverables with high levels of quality and customer satisfaction

  • Work closely with the Technical Engineering teams, Database Administrators and management to identify/resolve issues from start to finish internally and with the customer

  • Assist customer in problem identification, product solution, testing, training, and deployment

  • Provide Credibility, Communication and Leadership qualities to their highest to ensure customer confidence in Optum360 delivery abilities

  • Work closely with customer and staff to coordinate implementation efforts across multiple facilities

  • Responsible for adhering to the implementation time line and ensuring all deadlines are reached

Requirements

 


Requirements:



  • Preferably 2 - 5 years of experience being part of a team that has implemented medium to large scale applications or outsourcing projects in a health care and/or consulting environment

  • Solid hands-on experience in project and system development lifecycle

  • Strong understanding of implementation methods, processes, standards, and tools 

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including the development of training/communications materials

  • Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Outstanding problem solving and organizational skills

  • Flexibility and adaptability

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Creativity in problem-solving

  • Healthcare industry, hospital collections and/or hospital operations knowledge

  • Experience within a hospital accounting, billing office, operations and or healthcare consulting firm a plus

  • Knowledge of healthcare Revenue Management Cycle best practices, processes, and policies

  • Previous experience with a hosted software solution or SaaS based model a plus

  • Associates degree, related experience, or a minimum of 5 years experience in a healthcare billing office

  • Travel-5-10% overnight travel may be required
