As a Pharmacy Benefit Implementation Specialist, you will
play a critical role in creating a quality member experience by accurately
implementing and revising assigned pharmacy benefit plans. You will construct
and revise prescription plans cost and coverage levels in alignment with the
client's predetermined requirements. You will need a high degree of personal
accountability, attention to detail, and engage in proactive problem solving
while completing repetitive data entry tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Planning, processing, and maintaining new group installation
and renewals of pharmacy benefit plans - Researching and resolving any pharmacy benefit issues with
assigned pharmacy plan - Perform claim testing to ensure accurate claim adjudication
- Research errors by comparing Account Management
documentation against multiple internal systems - Utilize Microsoft excel for comparison formulas and
creating planning in basic spreadsheet format - Research and respond to claims processing inquiries from
Client Management, Clinical, and other internal departments - Prioritize caseloads based on business and customer need
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/ GED
- 1+ year years of experience in a healthcare insurance
environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to
perform job duties - 1+ year experience in accurately entering data in multiple
systems or platforms - Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which
includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications - Ability to remain focused and productive each day though
tasks may change or alternate - Ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple
products and multiple levels of benefits within each product - Excellent attendance with ability to meet work schedule
including the required training period
Assets:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy retail environment
- Previous experience in a Pharmacy Benefit Management
environment performing a benefit related function - Previous experience using RxClaims or RX Construct
