Talent Acquisition Consultant

LOCATION: SW Portland

SALARY: $30-$31 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION: Research and Healthcare Organization has an immediate need for an experienced Talent Acquistion Consultant to cover for a maternity leave. Position will last approximately 3 months and will be working Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. This position will require someone to manage all phases of the recruitment process consistent with law, collectively bargained provisions, organizational policies, and procedures to assure high quality candidates are provided to the hiring manager timely.  This will include recruitment plans, proactive sourcing, advertising, applicant screening, confirming a qualified applicant pool, interviewing, credential verification, reference checks, calculation of offers, offer letters, responding to applicant queries, and recordkeeping. Will be managing 50+ open requisitions at one time.

REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience and training. 2 yrs human resources experience that included recruitment or staffing experience that includes one additional year of experience proactively sourcing candidates for hard to fill positions. Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws, rules and regulations. Familiar with use of personal computers including various computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Power Point). A pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening will be required for this position.
