FedEx Ground is currently searching for package handlers in several facilities throughout our growing network. Immediate opportunities are available. Apply today!
Responsible for the physical loading, unloading and/or sorting of packages by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying and placing, in a safe and efficient manner. Package Handlers (PHs) may be assigned to or rotate through various areas and positions such as Loader, Unloader, Scan Weigh and Key (SWAK), Quality Assurance (QA), Facer, Switcher, etc.
Benefits include three pay increases in first six months, tuition assistance after 60 days of employment, competitive wages, and eligible benefits, vacation, and paid holidays after introductory period.
In order to be considered for one of these positions, you must successfully complete the following three steps:
- Register to Attend a Sort Observation – A sort observation is a brief tour of our facility where interested individuals will have the opportunity to view an actual sort in operation and obtain a realistic preview of the Package Handler job. This application will bring you to a registration form to schedule your observation.
- Apply for a Position – After your tour, you will receive an email with a link to apply or you can apply while you’re at the facility
- Interview – You may be contacted for an interview or interview onsite after your Sort Observation.
Minimum Experience:
- No experience required
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must not be enrolled in high school
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass a drug test, where applicable
- Must complete a sort observation (20-30 minutes)
Hours:
St. Joe Inbound -- Tuesday -- Saturday 3:15- 7:15 AM (hours may vary) $10.23 hourly – 3 pay increases first 6 months!
St. Joe Outbound -- Monday -- Friday 4:00 -- 8:00PM (hours may vary) $9.73 hourly – 3 pay increases first 6 months!
