Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Licensed Practical Nurses perform a variety of patient care duties including, but not limited to: * Performing health screenings and physical examinations. * Triaging, assessing, and treating patients' medical needs. * Taking medical histories and vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight. * Administering medications, immunizations, and other personalized care as directed by medical staff. * Providing basic wound care including cleaning and bandaging injured areas. * Performing other general nursing duties such as cardiac monitoring, catheter management, venipuncture, IVs, diabetic lines, etc. * Observing, monitoring, and assessing patients' well-being. * Performing other duties such as maintaining records, scheduling appointments, billing patients, working with insurance companies, and other administrative-related tasks specific to the work. Qualifications: * Graduation from an accredited educational institution, possessing a diploma, associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or master's degree in nursing accepted for licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing. * Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the State of Michigan.
