LPN/RN Correctional Nurse - Adrian - Full-time / Part-time

Calling all nurses - both newly licensed and experienced! Manpower, Inc. of SE Michigan is currently seeking licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to work with the Michigan Department of Corrections in Adrian, MI and throughout the state of Michigan. Many positions are full-time, long-term, and offer competitive pay. RNs and LPNs within a correctional facility perform a variety of patient care duties including, but not limited to: * Performing health screenings and physical examinations. * Triaging, assessing, and treating inmates' chronic, acute, psychological, and medical needs during incarceration. * Assessing and providing mental health care including patient assessments/evaluations. * Administering medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions as directed by medical staff. * Serving as a first responder in emergency and crisis situations. * Performing other general nursing duties such as cardiac monitoring, catheter management, venipuncture, IVs, diabetic lines, etc. Qualifications: * Graduation from an accredited educational institution, possessing a diploma, associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or master's degree in nursing accepted for licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing. * Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the State of Michigan.
