ManpowerGroup is seeking a Customer Service Representative to help support our client's team. This is a temporary assignment that will last approximately one year. The pay rate is $13/hr. Description: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) manages an assigned group of accounts to ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved in a manner consistent with our client's cost and profitability goals. The CSR is accountable for all aspects of order administration, invoicing, unadjusted items, contract and sales and/or purchase order monitoring to ensure orders are received on a timely basis and delivery commitments are upheld. The CSR works in a team concept environment within an assigned team to effectively balance the workload within the group and to cover during absences. The CSR is also accountable for establishing "Best Practices" for overall customer satisfaction and communicating and training others within the department in the application of these practices. The CSR is the liaison between the Customer, Management, Credit, and the Manufacturing Plants. .Effective communication skills are vital to the position. The position requires an extensive knowledge of Primary Metals business processes and systems in order to proactively prevent problems related to customer satisfaction. (E.g. invoicing, pricing, delivery, etc) This position may occasionally quote prices as specifically directed by Sales. MAJOR DELIVERABLES: *Has an in-depth knowledge of the customer base assigned. *Is responsible for customer satisfaction from initial forecast through order placement to final delivery and payment. *Monitors the sales forecast to ensure orders are received on a timely basis and maintains the forecast for his/her customers. *Monitors customer cash applications and resolves issues through the unadjusted items system. *Keeps metal control aware of customer variances from forecast. *Communicates with the BU's, the sales staff, the Demand & Supply Coordinators and Plant Schedulers to assure the smooth flow of information. *Monitors contracts, purchases, and forecasts to ensure orders are received on a timely basis and delivery commitments are upheld. *Provides backup to cover vacations, sickness or travel of other CSR's. *May occasionally quote prices as specifically directed by sales. *Aggressively pursues communications with Metal Control, manufacturing plants, and the outside Sales Force to ensure all efforts are focused on the goals of customer satisfaction and plant profitability. The CSR will work closely with the Sales Directors to engage outside sales team in day-to-day efforts to exceed plan. Candidate must demonstrate superior knowledge of their assigned product line, and customer base as they relate to the Primary Metals objectives and the broader commercial strategy.
