Full-Time Packing

GENERAL LABOR PACKING 1st Shift: 7:00 am- 3:30 PM Mon- Fri 2nd Shift: 3:30 pm-2 am Mon-Thurs Pay: $8.50/hr (2nd Shift) & $8.25/hr (1st Shift) MUST live locally to the Buchanan, MI area. Mission: Efficiently and accurately package a variety of products for our customers. Ensure parts, packaging materials and labels match specifications. Complete all paperwork accurately and on time. Actively communicate ideas to improve the level of quality and efficiency. Key Goals: 1. Support and promote the company core values. 2. Check parts and material against appropriate customer and company documents for accuracy and consistency. 3. Package and label parts according to the work order. 4. Check quantities for accuracy. 5. Process paperwork accurately and on time. 6. Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently. 7. Maintain a neat and clean work area. 8. Maintain a minimum overall average efficiency of 100% 9. Communicate issues and problems promptly to the Lead Packager. 10. Offer suggestions for continuous process improvement. 11. Perform additional tasks, as directed. Requirements: -High school degree or equivalent -Organized and detail oriented. -Basic math and reading skills. -Able to work with other people in a team environment. -Obtain and maintain forklift license. -Stand for up to 10 hours. -Be able to bend, lift, squat, push, pull and twist frequently. -Lift up to 50-60lbs to heights of 3 feet.
