This is a position in our Sugar Land / Houston TX office supporting a claims operation.
Positions in this function include more traditional administrative/clerical support roles including: answering the telephone, typing/word processing of documents, maintaining calendars and setting up meetings, making travel arrangements, copying, faxing, greeting visitors, setting up files, tracking expenses, and coordinating building and equipment maintenance. At senior levels, function may include supervision of other clerical/administrative staff.

- Moderate work experience within own function.
- Some work is completed without established procedures.
- Basic tasks are completed without review by others.
- Supervision/guidance is required for higher level tasks.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1+ year Previous experience in an administrative assistant, operations support or related role
- Ability to utilize MS Word to create correspondence, update information within forms/templates, utilization of spell/grammar check tools
- Ability to utilize MS Excel to perform data entry, sorting/filtering, working within tables and basic formulas.
- Ability to utilize MS PowerPoint to create presentations from scratch, update/modify existing presentations and templates.
- Previous experience managing expenses and travel utilizing tools such as Concur
- Previous experience with ordering and tracking office equipment (i.e. laptops, phones, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience providing administrative support to a department or group
- Previous experience organizing meetings/events
